05.  CALL TO WORSHIP  (based on Isaiah 40 ) *

Have you not known, have you not heard,

that firm remains on high,

the everlasting throne of God who rules both earth and sky?

Are you afraid God’s power shall fail

when comes that fateful day?

How can an all-creating arm grow weary and decay?

Mere human power shall fast decay

and youthful vigour cease,

but they who wait upon the LORD

in strength shall still increase.

On eagles’ wings they mount, they soar,

Their wings are faith and love,

They’ll rise above the shadows here

To meet the God they love.

Let us worship God.

06.  INTROIT (Tune # 123)  *

O God, of matchless glory, of all surpassing worth,

You fill the world with wonder, You bring our souls to birth.

To whom shall we sing praises?  To whom, O God, but You?

Receive our adoration for we belong to You!
